Meet Abby, the Dog (and Hound) behind our boutique.

As you browse through our shop, you might notice a recurring face. This is Abby, our Andalusian Hound who was rescued in May 2019 and joined our family in November that year. She puts all of our products through their paces before we list them, and we only ever stock brands that meet her high standards of both style and quality. 

As for me, I work closely with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages and personalities. It's important to me that the products I sell are comfortable, practical and well made. I'm always happy to hear from my customers, whether you have feedback, a query or want advice about sizing.

I'm immensely proud of this collection of products, I hope you and your dogs love them as much as I do.

Shipping and Returns

How long will my order take to arrive?

We always endeavour to dispatch our orders same/next working day across all our platforms. If you need an item in a hurry, just get in touch and we'll see what we can do. Our standard shipping aims to deliver within 3 days in the UK and 11days for international orders. However, at the moment, we cannont guarantee delivery times due to widespread delays in the Royal Mail network.

What shipping options do you provide?

Our customer base is about a 50/50 split between the UK and US (with the occasional order shipping to the EU and Australia). We offer a basic and tracked shipping option for both domestic and international orders so no matter where you're based there should be a shipping option to meet your needs. All our shipping options are insured so in the unlikely event of an extended delay or the loss of your parcel, your order will be replaced at no additional cost. Pease note that only shipping upgrades marked as "tracked" will offer tracking updates. If you select basic shipping you will not be able to see updates on your order after it is dispatched.

What is your returns policy?

Any order returned to us within 28 days and in it's original condition will be eligable for a full refund. We'll confirm with you once your return has been received, please allow up to 5 working days for the funds to return to your account. If you would like an exchange for a different size or colour, let us know and we'll arrange for this to be sent out to you at no additional cost (once the original item has been returned to us). Please note, buyers are responsible for return postage- unless there was a problem or fault with your order in which case we will send you a prepaid postage label to cover your return costs.

Do I need to pay customs charges on international orders?

Standard customs policies apply to our products, please check the import regulations for your couuntry before prchase. The Dog and Hound boutique cannot be held accountable for any customs charges applied to orders leaving the UK.

How do I return/exchange my order?

We understand that shopping for dogs isn't always straight forward- breed and age can have a huge impact on sizing and fit. We're always happy to accept returns and exchanges (as long as the item has no signs of wear or use). Just complete the returns form you received with your order and send your items back to us at the address on your invoice.

How is my order packaged?

Every order is packed and checked by hand. We only use recyclable (and where possible, recycled) packaging and marketing materials. Where possible we try to use letterbox sized packaging for minimal disruption on the day of delivery, but some items may need to be signed for/collected from the post office.

Frequently asked questions

Can my order be customised?

Our aged leather greyhound collars are hand made to order, if you'd like your collar styled in a particular way, just let us know We don't currently offer customisation on any Dogissimo or CatwalkDog products, though we have had customers tailor their jumpers and jackets after purchase to add harness holes or fit unusual breeds as desired. If you have any questions about fit or sizing for particular breeds, feel free to get in touch. We're always happy to offer advice.

How will Covid-19 affect my order?

Unfortunately, with the return of lockdown we've noticed an increase in the delivery times on international parcels. Please keep this in mind if your order is time sensitive. Where possible, we're aiming to dispatch same day to give your orders a head start but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee delivery dates at the present time.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

We're slowly rolling out gift wrapping across all our products, but every order is lovingly presented and wrapped in tissue paper.
